HDPE plastic recycling pelletizing process
- Melting: The dried HDPE pellets are fed into the melting system of theHDPE granules making machine , where they are melted at high temperatures to transform them into a flowable state, ready for the subsequent extrusion process.
- Extrusion: The melted HDPE material passes through the extruder and is pushed by a heated screw, which further uniformly heats the material and extrudes it from the die.
- Cooling: The temperature of the plastic strips just coming out of the HDPE granules making machine is very high, so they need to be cooled down with cooling water tanks, and at the same time cooling down can make the plastic harden quickly, so that it can be convenient for subsequent HDPE plastic pelletizing.
- Cutting: Finally, the cut HDPE pellets are cut into suitable lengths to obtain the final recycled pellet product.
